I know it sounds loserish but I have always loved math. When I was little my favorite thing to do was puzzles. Any other girls who love math?

I love math! It's not my favorite thing, but it's so logical and makes sense and follows rules! It's a nice change from English and French and Chem where there always have to be more exceptions to the rule than there are rules.

Ahhh I just wrote a HUGE post about how much I love math, and then accidentally deleted it all before I posted it. Oops! Well now I have to go and don't have time to retype it but, in essence, I LOVE MATH!! It's kind of pathetic how much : P

I love math also...wish I had more time so I can study topics independently, maybe take an Art of Problem Solving course...

I like physics a lot, so 1/2 point for me?

I have a friend who loves Math, because it's a standard set of rules and easy to understand. That's no point for me, though. I'm more of a person who likes open for interpretation subjects, like English. I don't despise Math, though. Maybe that is .25 of a point?

I love math because it's so clean and logical and orderly, and I'm not even a neat person, my room is a dump.
I'm taking honors physics next year and I'm super excited, but like what exactly do you do? Whoever said they take it, what's an example of a problem?
The bad part of being good at math is that during math class I have finished all of my work ahead of time so my teacher lets me go around and help people with their work. But I'm really bad at helping people because I just get it and they just... don't.

Math is great! I love solving problems, and because you are either right or wrong. You know where you stand because there is no gray area!

The math behind physics isn't that hard (at the HS level at least). The challenge is in figuring out how to set up a problem.

My girlfriend loves mathematics. Very talented in mathematics and I really respect her for it too. Nothing to be ashamed of. Guys love a girl with brains.

yesnomaybeso7:
you need to know trig functions, addition, subtraction, and multiplication and thats about it I think. You add and subtract forces in high school physics. I took it before calculus and understood all of the stuff, but after derivatives and other stuff in calculus physics looks like a joke, so if you've taken calculus it should be a breeze.

MV Calc = <3

DiamondDave:
Try taking Physics C and figuring out center of masses and moments of inertia of irregular objects with varying density. It's not hard if you're good in calculus, but it's a totally different ball game from the regular physics.

And I agree with Taggart. MV Calc = :)

I'm not particularly fond of math because I struggle a lot with the subject for the past two years. But I enjoy puzzles a lot.

When I do math, I just relax. It's like my brain is drifting in a somewhat numbing state. That's probably because what I do is easy.

Woah Marimare, thats totally how I feel. I kind of get into the zone and my handwriting gets neat. Plus I'm in Algebra 4 honors so everyone in my class is like, well, slow, so its really nice at the end of the day to be getting 94s on tests without studying at all while knowing that some of my friends studied(for math?) and got 68s

ooo ooo I like math, pick me, pick me!

i love math too!!!!

I love math. You kind of look at a problem for thirty minutes and suddenly it's like oh, I know how to do it now! And then you write it down and it's QED from there...it's frustrating when you have no clue how to decipher or approach a problem, I've wrecked a few mechanical pencils banging them into the desk, but once you get it it's totally worth it.

<--- math major

haha prospective applied math/ ieor major right here :)
(though english and music double minor? is that possible?)
