Yeah . . . is Stern even more ridiculously competitive this year?

stern is competitive every year. actually, a business week ranking lists nyu as the 7th school of business where, "peer competitions is a turn off."
I'm really scared actually!! ugh!!!

Well Stern hasn't even mailed out the decions yet... it's just Stern Scholars right now?

I am waiting

Yea i am still waiting... I had heard that other kids were getting their responses at my school though this would make sense if Stern hasn't mailed yet.

i'm still waiting too and getting more and more nervous by the day...i think only stern scholars (ie sunday at the square people) know right now and i knew that i wouldn't be in that elite group...only 11 more days, maybe less I suppose...and then i can regain my sanity

Is it true that only students who applied for financial aid are considered for the Stern Scholars program? I noticed that the Scholars program was listed as a source of financial aid on the NYU website, and I was wondering whether all the people who received Stern Scholars notifications applied for FA?

i am waiting still.

me too...........

gothicarclove: no, applying for financial aid has nothing to do with eligibility for the Stern Scholars program. Stern Scholars does NOT give out merit scholarships anymore, so I'm guessing the webpage just wasn't updated.

almost all stern applicants are still waiting, with the exception of those who received the scholars invitation. we all need to relax, haha.

still waiting, doubt ill get in

Got into USC-Marshall Business yesterday... hoping that I can get into Stern too (NYU is my top choice)...

^^ uugh i think USC is my top choice, but NYU is a close second.

i just got university day reception invitation for stern. is that for scholars?? or for everyone who has been admitted

I haven't received anything yet, but I doubt I'll get in.

In.

oogogoogog

You got in, lynxie? If so, congrats!

How do you know? Invite? Already for Stern????

Invite to University Day Reception, at the Sally E.. Blount Lyon thingy.

im still waiting for Stern, i live in so cal
