Any point in trying for Georgetown?

Basically, 3.5 gpa and approximately 2150 SAT
I feel like gpa can be a real dealbreaker and I realize my stuff is relatively low. Yes, there's the whole 'holistic process' but gpa is definitely a big player in it all.

if it matters, i'll have taken 9 AP's by the end of senior year and i've never scored lower than a 4

not many EC's but I've stuck to the ones I do for a long time (maybe about 3 solid activities)
work experience beyond store clerk or restaurant waitress

So, be honest but please don't be unnecessarily brutal. Yes, Georgetown's a reach for me but is it to a point where I should start crossing all my fingers?

Thanks

Were your lower grades on those AP courses?

I think you have a chance. Georgetown and those of its caliber are probably where you should be aiming for, but make sure to have a few matches that you absolutely love as well as great safeties.

I second @Woandering‌, your stats seem to be fine for Georgetown as long as you apply to matches/safeties. Do your best and I think you’ll be viewed as a strong applicant- no guarantee for admission, but definitely not a bad chance by any means.
