<p>so i was applying to howard university and the deadline is today ie the 15. i sent in the online app already but what if i send in the letters of rec and transcript and stuff like tomorrow. any point or will it not be considered.

<p>Yes, still apply. Lots of letters of recc, transcripts will get there late even if mailed on time. Also, it's not as if any admissions' staff can open all of the applications right after they arrive. A flood of applications arrives at the last minute, and I imagnie it can take as long as 2 weeksfor all of thos apps to be opened and filed.</p>
<p>Realize, too, that there are major snowstorms in the Midwest and NE, causing school closings and other problems, and that will delay applications from those areas. So, yours won't be the only late app.</p>
<p>Anyway, if you're interested in Howard, the only way you'll have a chance of going there will be to apply.</p>
