Any Potterheads out there?

Seeing it again tonight!
Alan Rickman deserves an oscar!

The movie, which I saw in a midnight premiere, was amazing. Everything a Potterhead could dream for. And the battle scenes were actually better than in the book.
I hated OOTP movie, didn’t have an opinion of HBP movie, like Part 1, and I think Part 2 is the best movie of the past 10 years.

I dressed up as Cho Chang. I felt like I belonged with all those Potter geeks dressed up along with my friends and me.

^^^ Yes D: I was crying when Snape died and during the viewing of his memories of him and Lily. I still get chills thinking about it. I’m sad that it’s over but it was really great.

I started crying the minute Voldemort killed Snape and continued to do so until the end of the movie.

Especially when the trio re-entered the castle and saw everybody who was dead. And Snape’s memories.

Hatshepsut, you, sir, are a genius.

Alan Rickman deserves an Oscar (or at least a nod) indeed.

At the end of the movie I yelled

MISCHIEF MANAGED!

And the whole audience started clapping.

The timing was great

It was AMAZING. I went to the midnight showing and the audience was crazy. Before the movie started during the there was a trailer for that Rise of The Apes movie and half of the theatre started screaming when they saw Tom Felts in it (he was looking pretty hot). But anyways I got chills during the opening title thing with the music when I realized it would be the last time ever. I feel like it symbolized the end of my childhood. I don’t want to grow up.

I seriously can’t stop crying. I feel horrible… my childhood has officially come to an end. :frowning: I’m going to miss Hogwarts sooo much, not to mention all of the characters. To be honest, when Voldemort died in the movie I felt kind of sad because that’s when you know that it really is the end. :frowning:

What I can’t wrap my head around is how JK Rowling came up with this CONCEPT of Harry Potter. One woman created a whole new world that seems so real, but you know it can’t be. But the saddest part is that it could all be real… & we would never know because we’re muggles.

AMAZING movie, though. :D

I don’t understand how people are so sad over the final movie though lol.

Technically Harry Potter ended a long long time ago. The final book left me depressed for a week

I’m not as attached to the books as I am the movies, which is why I’m sad over the final movie. Yes, HP did end a long time ago, but the entire franchise is now finally coming to an end.

THE MIDNIGHT PREMIER WAS EPIC!!!
I’m so glad i went, but i agree with Leftyy- it is depressing :frowning: and when the last book came out i was of course sad, but at least i had the movies to look forward to. Now there is nothing. NOTHING, I SAY!

but whether by page or by big screen hogwarts will always be there to welcome me home- and that is what has been comforting me

The movie was AWESOME.

But my theater was not. My friend and I were basically the only people that dressed up. Disappointing indeed.

I just feel attached, yes, to the whole franchise. The books are better than the movies, yes, but I loved everything about Harry Potter. I was excited about everything. I’m still excited for Pottermore, but I feel like I’m finally out of my childhood and it makes me upset.

The midnight opening was so awesomeeee. Tons of people (including me) dressed up, and I won a coupon book for answering a HP trivia question. Everyone clapped when McGonagall attacked Snape, when Ron and Hermione kissed, when Neville killed Nagini. It was so great that I saw it again later that afternoon lol

^ If they had read the books they would not be clapping for Mcgonagall’s attack on snape

:p

IM A MAJOR POTTERHEAD
i cried so much in the last movie…
currently going through post potter depression :(

btw, i agree with tigerb, i feel more attached/emotional about the movies than the books

@Harvardhottie: me too! I cannot function, everything I do I relate to Harry Potter. And then burst out crying.

Do any of you guys like Wizard Rock?

@hatshepsut…

omgsh yes!
When I watch interviews and even look at pictures of HP, I just start crying. My family thinks I’m nuts.

What’s wizard rock?
