I know sometimes people analyze past years to make some predictions. Any guesses for this year? Thanks!

Cold War
Feminism
and maybe something like revolutions of 1848 to go along with the modern middle east

yeah i heard that a “woman question” quesiton is almost always one of the six FRQ topics, but you have to really know your stuff if you want to answer it

I really don’t know much about women in European History, do you think I should start studying for that extra, or just avoid that FRQ because usually there aren’t many questions on it.

Yep, there is almost ALWAYS something on women. I self-studied last year and just conceded the women essay since I really did not care that much. Having 3 options helps a lot. Relatively few MC questions seem to come from women-related topics as well.

I’m self-studying and my books don’t really cover a good amount of women’s history.

Be careful about being too confident, though, because once there was a DBQ on women’s advancements in the Russian and French Revolutions, and hardly anyone got a 6+ on that.
