So if I get accepted to UF for the spring of 2012, I'll be a PSYCH-Major [Junior year]. What are your thoughts and feedback about the PSYCH program/classes at UF?

My other choice of school is FSU, but I'd like to get into UF because of the prestige that it upholds. I respect the school greatly.

What would you suggest taking and not taking etc??

Also any PSYCH Majors here that goes to UF? What are you studying as your Minor? Would you suggest a double major?

I’m a Psych major. I really liked the classes because as part of the major itself, it lets you explore the different areas that psychology has to offer. I DO wish there were more classes in Eating Disorders and psychology related to children/teens, but overall we have some gret professors that you can work with. If you get the opportunity to take a lab with Dr. Iwata or Dr. Vollmer TAKE IT. Their findings have been published numerous times and are well-renowned in the field of Psychology.

I chose Psychology because I wanted a flexible major that enabled me to take courses in various other areas. I picked up 2 minors. 1 in Education and 1 in Nutritional Sciences.
