Ok, word, srry

I am drunk, just to let you know

Disregard previous comment; when you get to Cornell you will understand ;)

hmm.. you alright?

Lol Yeah Im Chill

Hahahah me too perro. !!!! good times !!

Exactly....hotelie and I are on the same level

In all honesty, how much does drinking tie into the social life?

How do you guys feel about transfers...are they shunned/do they keep to themselves? (I'm planning ton transferring :D)

Drinking IS social life. Well I mean for normal students that is. Of course there will be those kids who live holed up on west and attend only campus-sponsored junk like the CU-2-nite stuff. But I mean, if you are going to party, then you are going to drink. A lot.

Transfers are good. I have a lot of friends who are transfers. Living in the transfer center sorta sucks because you cant get right in with the student body, but ive also heard that living there can get pretty crazy and exciting. They dont usually keep to themselves, although i imagine it takes a while for them to blend into the environment, just as it is with freshman.

Hey perro I have to ask my most important question yet....

What do you guys usually drink up at Cornell? :D

At frat parties the standard fare is Milwaukee's Best Light, AKA "Beast." This is because it is of course the cheapest beer available in cans. Kegs, by the way, are a thing of that past at Cornell because of restrictive new NY state keg registration laws. So our old friend, the "Keg o' Natty" is no longer seen around campus. At some parties you will luck out and find Keystone Light, which is a real treat.

Early in the year, the drink quality at open parties is substantially better. At some of said parties one will find jungle juice or other mixed drinks. And some places have themed parties with actual decent drinks, but this is rare. As the year goes on these are no longer seen and the parties all become quite similar.

So yeah, if you are a connoiseur of fine spirits or just cant handle beast, I would always recommend pregaming (get a good fake made before you leave the city, if you havent already). Then once at the party one need stomach only small quantities of beast in order to keep his or her inhibitions suppressed.

I'm gonna miss Budweiser

Can we bring our own mini-fridges for necessities, like liquor and beer?

I too miss Bud, being from the south.

Yes you can bring fridges, or rent them through the school.

Ewwww I am not down with BEAST!

I'm down with anything that gets the job done

Me too, Spanks, me too... I'll learn to adapt! haha But I need a fake!! :(

I lost mine, I have to get a new one...:(...do they take out of state IDs up there?

Perro, or someone else wise. What are some things to bring to Cornell, or college in general we wouldn't think of? And what are some things we would probably think of bringing but won't need?

Spanks: An out of state fake is the best bc people will be less familiar with the designed and consequently less likely to pronounce it fake.

Sparticus: Um.....nothing really that you wouldnt think of. As far as stuff that you would think of bringing but won't need, just try to eliminate extraneous junk. What I mean is that a lot of items end up sitting around collecting dust. TV's for example; unless you play a lot of video games you really wont have much use for a TV in your room. I cant really think of anything too specific; just use your best judgement and dont bring too much stuff.

How good does the fake have to be? Will a $40 one pass or will I have to spring for the really expensive ones that scan and everything. I want a fake that will pass in both bars and stores.

The best drink by far is Skippies. There should be a lot of this on the frat scene.
