Hi everyone I am a current Villanova student and I just finished my first year. I am in the business school and I know some things about the other colleges as well. If anyone has any questions please let me know, I will try to answer them the best I can.

hey, i was accepted into arts and sciences, but i might wanna switch to business. do you know if that hard to do? oh, and do you have any experience with the learning communities? i signed up for leadership...

It is not that hard to transfer into the business school, I know a few people that have switched and they didn't say it was terribly difficult. There is an application though, and i think a lot of times whether you get it or not is contingent on how you do in business classes. What you might want to do is stay in arts and science and get a business minor. You can even get one over the summer through sbi (summer business institute). Basically you come over the summer for a 5-6 weeks and you get a business minor. It depends on your interest though, if you have a strong interest in business than consider transfering, if not than i suggest just going for a business minor. I myself was not in a learning community but I knew many people that were. I know that it is a 1 credit class that meets once a week. What exactly goes on in these classes I'm not sure but I know that my friend in health and wellness did a lot of things that wasn't in a classroom setting. Everyone that I know that has been in a learning community enjoyed it.
