Decision letters are in the mail!
The decision letters for Regular Decision applicants were picked up by the US Postal Service today(March 19, 2011)! They should be reaching mailboxes sometime next week!

So excited! I live close, so I’m hoping for Tuesday or Wednesday!

Package arrived in MA today via US Mail. Accepted. Decent F/A.

Big envelope for my son came today!

congrats to the two of you!! I’m a HS junior and will be visiting next month. It would be great as folks add to this thread to post some stats - GPA, SAT (or did not submit) etc.

I got accepted today and with a pretty substantial amount of fin aid as well. I probably will not attend, however, so good luck to everyone still waiting!

I got accepted today as well! Unfortunately my financial aid package was absolutely miserable - something must have gone wrong. Still very excited about the school, though, and hoping I can attend!

D accepted today! (from Colorado)

I was accepted today as well. My financial aid package was pretty bad…I was expecting a lot more than $5,000 per year (all loans). I’m still waiting to hear back from my top 5 or 6 schools, but Providence isn’t super high on my list, basically just because I didn’t get a chance to visit campus for a tour/info session or interview. But here are some of my stats:
GPA: 3.5 UW
SAT: didn’t submit
ACT: 31
2 APs & various honors courses

Accepted!
SAT: 2100
SAT IIs: Lit: 640 Math 2 690 USHistory 740
Rank in HS: 1st decile
GPA: 3.5 UW 4.0 W
All Honors classes and 6 APs (5 this year)
AP US History: 5

Financial Aid package was $28K with $19K being a grant, the rest a combi of work study and loans.
