guys, if u dont get a likely letter = not the end of the world! i know i shouldnt be the one telling u this (i found out i got in to D and have been freaking out about it ever since) but things will work out for you!

Any more people care to comment on financial aid contact prior to their acceptance?

Procrastination, last year we got an inquiry about FA stuff before the acceptances were mailed, and S was admitted. So it may be a good sign.

I posted about my friend getting one 2 weeks ago, and I ended getting mine on Monday. We live 10 minutes from each other, so I'm pretty sure the waves theory is fairly accurate. I'm pretty sure I sent my app before she did though.

just got one today. although its postmarked 2/27/2009!
im so hype!!!

^Me too!! Postmarked 2/27 also.

can you guys post stats?

I got my letter today, also dated 2/27. SUCH a big weight off my shoulders! They said that there was "no question" that i'd be admitted, so i can now breath a huge sigh of relief, especially since Dartmouth is probably my 1st choice.

I just remembered something really weird: last night I had a dream that I got a likely letter from Dartmouth O_o

That must mean that you are able to see into the future!

^I should've put it on my application
