We haven't heard anything. Just curious.

I wish! I need to know NOW.

Last year’s threads show Mar. 29 at the earliest. :(

March 18th, actually.

I think they release decisions on Apr. 1. According to their website which is already listing dates and deadlines for NEXT year’s applicants, the decision date is Apr. 1 (2012)

I got an email today about the prospective student weekend…so…maybe they’ll send them soon.

The website still doesn’t say anything though.

@Meanderer, I got that email too. Does everyone who applied get it?

@collegerunner

I would take it as a good sign. I mean, I can’t see them sending it to the people they plan on rejecting in a week or so. :/

@Meanderer–it does seem positive. Let’s hope decisions are soon…

I got it too. I mean… most of the decisions are already made, and it’d be cruel to send that email to people they know they’ve rejected, wouldn’t it? Hampshire doesn’t strike me as the cruel type. :D

My daughter also received the email, but it seems to be an invitation to a a Hampshire Visit Day, not an accepted student’s day. Applicants could still be on a master list if they signed up to receive general mailings from Hampshire’s Admissions Office. It’s possible that names from this year’s prospective class haven’t been purged. It would be great if this mailing were a positive sign, bit I’m pessimistic about things, in part because colleges in my part of the country have been known to send out occasional acceptances by mistake.

Well I didn’t get a email so maybe they do send it to people who got in

me either. im an asian with a terrible SAT score asking for financial aid anyway so :D

April 1st then?

I was told my daughter got into another school by the financial aid office only to be told by the admissions office that a decision hadn’t been made yet.

It’s aggravating that decisions come late, financial aid even later which leaves such a short time to visit and decide what school to attend.

We’re still waiting to hear from Hampshire, too.

Way to burst our bubbles of hope, you guys. :o

Why do they need four months to make a decision anyway? It’s psychologically cruel to make anyone wait that long. -_-

Any more thoughts on the email or when decisions are coming out?

I really need to find something to distract myself. Maybe I can go into a nine-day hibernation.

If it would help, you could look at some photos:

Thanks, ALF! Those are really nice.

I didnt get any email about the prospective student weekend:( am hoping that they do not send it to any international student regardless of their admission status (I mean, most of us cannot attend the event anyway LOL)
