<p>Seeing so many people on here getting emails about scholarships and other things is getting me a bit discouraged. I don't want to give my hopes up, but...oh, I don't know.</p>

<p>wait yeah i’m dying…when are the tisch people supposed to hear? er when did they hear last year at least? i applied for drama would that be any different than photo/film etc</p>

<p>The email comes from NYU (last year on March 25th, with a cryptic invite on March 19th to some applicants about accepted students day). Tisch is not even mentioned in the first “congratulations from NYU” email, but rest assured that if you are admitted to NYU, it means that you are admitted to the program you applied for. (You can’t be admitted to NYU, but not to Tisch). For Drama, a letter came about a week later from Tisch, and studio assignments April 9th. Good luck!</p>
