My father and Uncle also went to Northeastern

Its an absolute dream to get into Northeastern and be able to continue the legacy in the family. So what do you guys think? I know that Northeastern has made great progress in the past 3 years but is it still worth it being my number 1 choice? Thanks in advance and God bless.

Everything looks good! Just try to up your SAT scores. Aim for 1900+

^ditto. Everything looks right on target but definitely set your SAT goals a little higher (1900 range)

good luck!

Try the ACT as well if you don’t do well on the SAT.

You could get accepted, but I wouldn’t count on it. Many seemingly qualified applicants got rejected, wait listed, or put in some NUin program (this forces students to study abroad for a semester before attending the school - which to me is a nicer way of rejecting people).

Northeastern gets way too many applications than they know what to do with. They got over 47,000 applications for 2,800 freshman seats this year, and they’ll probably get more next year. So, until they increase their class size, their acceptance rate is going to keep dropping like crazy. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was under 30% next year.

IMO, not really, you get to go to Northeastern for the other 7 1/2 semesters. If anything it is a nice way of deferring admission until Spring semester.
