Any real chance?

<p>If anybody has any idea of my chances, let me know:</p>

<p>I'm looking to do political science / government / politics
or maybe business</p>

<p>Stats:
4.25 weighted GPA
3.62 unweighted GPA
ranked just out of top ten in school, but very prestigious/renowned hs
Mostly A's through high school, but a decent number of B's :(
ACT: 33
PSAT: 227 - National Merit Semifinalist
SAT I: taking in october
SAT II: 720 USH, 690 English, may retake
Courses: very rigorous, never taken lower than an accelerated course, and only have taken 4 accelerated courses cumulative through hs.
AP European HIstory - 4
AP USH - 4
AP Physics - 4
AP English Language - 4</p>

<p>taking in senior year:
AP Environmental Science, AP Comparative Government and AP Government, AP English Literature, AP Psychology, AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics, and AP Calc AB.</p>

<p>total AP credits after seniior year: 11</p>

<p>EC's:
Director of Service in National Honor Society (school chapter has 400 members, only 8 board members/directors won spot through general election, accounts for 280 hours of service per year)
Opinions Editor in nationally recognized school newspaper, was leader through period of national recognition after scandalous article was published
Volunteer hours at children's hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation center, and blood bank
member of debate and Model united nations teams
member of scholastic bowl team</p>

<p>any suggestions as to how to pad my app a little more? I know my stats aren't amazing, what can I do/other than essay/reccomendations to prove myself?</p>

<p>Welcome to CC San. Your chances may be about 50/50, I think. GT is getting as competitive as an ivy. Don’t stress out. You’ve got the SAT to still take, and you’ll see how that goes. It may all come down to those essays and interview.</p>
