Any Reason To State Ethnicity?

Okay, I'm white. I'll admit it. (stupid German-French-English mix. ARGGGH!!!!!!!!!!)

However, will anyone care if I put "I prefer not to respond" on my applications? Because, I'd rather not respond. Some people think I look Hispanic, even though I'm not, and I wish I was african-american. This might add some mystery to who I really am and accurately characterize my accepting, diverse, multicultural personality.

Thoughts?

No, no one will care. Although,

I’m not sure if your diverse multicultural background will be automatically recognized either ;)

Thanks for the link!!!

Useful stuff. I’m putting “unknown” for sure now, because my last name sounds exremely hispanic.

im curious, what your last name if you dont mind? lol

I’ll PM it to ya.

Haha you’re lucky my name is most certainly Polish. lol I’ve got the Polish/German/English thing going on. But I mean I’m really European and I think I should get some credit for that. My mom was born in England jeesh. lol

And yeah if I was you I would just let them guess. ;)

Yeah, if you don’t want to state it, don’t. It’s perfectly fine not to. Maybe they will mistake you for Hispanic, but probably it won’t make a difference.
