I live in Georgia, but don't mind hearing out of state recomendations.
Psychology is one of my main aspirations.
My essays are very good as well.
If you wouldn't mind, please give me some safety, match , and reach schools.

would you prefer to stay in the southern region or head somewhere new?

It really looks like you don't know what you want in a college. It's best if you give us a list of criteria that you want in a school, and then ask for recommendations (so, do you want a small school, large school, liberal arts, research university, etc.).

It's hard to just say right away what type of school you're looking for. That's why you need to do a self-assessment, and after you've done a good job of your self-assessment, you will know the answers to the so very important question: What do I want out of college?

Let your tastes be your guide.

When you've discovered what you want, post your criteria and then ask for suggestions.

Here are some questions to get you started:

-How much do you challenge yourself?
-How much challenge do you want in college? Do you want to work extremely hard, party hard, or get a mix of both?

Be careful with your self-assessment. You could very well change your mind later--I certainly did. Before I wanted a huge university, and now I'm confident that I want a small liberal arts college.

I want a small liberal arts college that's has a strong math and science area in a place that snows a lot and where there's a great sense of community. I want a laid-back atmosphere preferably near a big city where I can unwind. I'm looking for a lot of opportunities and things to do. I want to work hard around intellectual, hard-working types. I want to avoid schools with a big Greek scene. In college I want to get a broad, liberal-arts education where I can learn a ton from academics and from experiences (e.g. study abroad, internships). I want a school where I can be involved, and where everyone is involved.

From that list I pinpointed (after a LOT of research and after narrowing down a big list on my own) several good schools that fit my needs: the University of Chicago, Swarthmore, Reed, Carleton, Tufts, and Macalester among them. After researching more (I'm still in the researching stage, which is where I should be), I will decide what schools to apply to. I will be happy at any of the schools that I apply to because they suit my needs.

From your post, we can't tell what your needs are, so we can't help you find any good matches. That's why bunny27 asked you a question, so that people can get a better sense of what you want.

But YOU have to know what you want first, and that starts of with a probing self-assessment that leads to a description of what you want.

That's when we can really help.

Yeah. Any criteria?

Ill liste 3 regions I Know: Midwest, South, North

North:
- BU (reach)
- NU (Match)
- American (Match)
- NYU (big reach)

Midwest:
- Indiana (safety)
- MSU (Low Match)
- OSU (Match)
- Purdue (safety)

South:
- South Carolina (Match)
- Georgia (High match)
- Gtech (possible if u raise ur SAT scores. otherwise its a big reach)
- Florida (best option as its really low tuition and good school but its a reach)
- FSU (another great option due to florida's low tution. its a match)
- UMiami (Reach.. better chance here than at Florida.. Only negative is its more expensive)

BU, NU, American, UMiami are good options if u can afford it.. ur prolly not gonna get schoalrships there as the schools are reaches to begin with but u can get financial aid.. again id pick a public if ur in need because u might not get schollys at many schools except the big tens I listed (I got scholarships there with similar stats).

I enjoy challenging myself. I have taken the hardest classes possible at my school. However, in college, I would also like a bit of time to enjoy myself. I openly challenge myself, however.
I would like to stay in the south, so any schools that are around Georgia would be nice. I would like a school that is large, but one that also has smaller classes as i move up. I also love my college football, so a school with a DI-A team would be a huge boost. Also, good financial aid packages are a huge plus.
Hope that helps.

Clemson or Auburn

Some possibilities:
Emory
Tulane
Florida
UMiami
U. of North Carolina
U. Virginia
Vanderbilt (these are all reaches, I think)

Go to www.collegeboard.com and use their College MatchMaker (be flexible to get a good number of schools)

Look at College profiles from websites, guidebooks, etc. of schools in Georgia.

Then narrow your list from there.
