Currently I am freshman at another university (Phila. PA) I am looking to transfer to another school because of a lack of social life. The school is not a bad school, but it’s not what I depicted college life to be. I would like to go to a bigger school, more of a college feel, where the majority of students’ are not commuters. (That’s a huge problem at my current school). Non-religious; more activities for students to take part in, student run clubs, lots of school spirit and fun clubs and extra-curricular to take part in. Basically the “college experience.” I was looking at ASU-West and Tempe. More so, West because I like the small atmosphere but when needed taking the shuttle to the main campus for the football games and fun activities that takes place. Also I was looking at temple since that would be close to home. I’d like a school that’s fairly easy to get into since my SAT’s were not so good. My grades were wonderful but my SAT’s and lack of extra-curricular are the biggest hurdles. I’d also like a school that’s affordable. Thank You.
What’s your budget, and what are your stats?
You do realize that ASU West and Temple are huge commuter schools? Only 12% and 22% of students live on-campus.
I’m a freshman at La Salle, you may like it. We have 122 student organizations. 55% of students live on campus; but our commuters are pretty active as well.
