I know this is depressing, but did anyone get rejected yet?
I know people have been waitlisted and CAPed, but any rejections? Or is UT saving the rejections for last?
because I didn't receive my notification yet, and I'm thinking maybe they save rejections for last? lol

well i got capd. does UT even flat out reject people? and its not depressing life goes on, most of us who got CAPd have been accepted into other universities that are just as good as Texas

I think any Texas student is offered CAP.

yea im thinking as long as your in state they will offer it to you

sadly today i was rejected.

@funnylikehehe
without CAP? what did u get on the SAT? and what other schools did you apply too?

^ I guessing funnylikehehe is OOS. btw, funnylikehehe, when did you know? like this hour?

Only in-state students who meet the new readiness requirements set by the Tx Leg (HB 3826) are offered CAP. The requirements are graduating under the recommended or advanced hs program (or meet SAT benchmark of 1500/2400 or ACT College Readiness Benchmarks of English-18 ,Math-22, Social Sciences-21, Science -24).

I think February is too early for OOS kids to be getting rejection letters. I think the wait lists and rejections will start coming later. (I could be wrong.)

I have never heard an in-state applicant who was reading CC who got rejected; the worst case scenario we read about here for an in-state applicants is CAP.

I think funnylikehehe is a ■■■■■ who made one post to rile things up.
(My humble opinion.)
