Maybe it's just me....but with MIT and UC decisions around the corner and April 1 looming larger than ever, it doesn't matter that I got into Stanford already; I'm just as nervous as I was the first time round.

yea i'm nervous...nervous about a couple of my east coast schools and a few of the ivies...but i'm gonna end up at stanford anyways....so its not that bad

I have withdrawn all my applications except my financial backup ( UT Austin ) and yup, you guessed right, Mass. Institute of Technology! Still, if it were completely up to me, i'd withdraw my MIT app too.

Am I nervous? hmm, yeah..getting accepted to more schools is just gonna complicate the decision making process! Right now, I'm set set set on Stanford, unless something very strange happens and they significantly change my financial aide.

My older brother had to choose between Harvard, MIT, CalTech, Stanford and a few others. It was not fun. After watching my brother, I think platypushunter has the right approach.

oh come one, you guys got in to stanford for gosh darn, y would you even have a hint of nervousness, even if you get rejected from all of your other schools you would still be guaranteed a spot at of the best unversities in the world

h88: He was interested in Physics and EE. There was only one college that had top programs in both, was located in the technology capital of the world and had great year-round weather: Stanford.

However, once you are accepted by Harvard, it is VERY painful to say "no" to them. It's like you're throwing away gold.

Fewer choice--as long as Stanford was one of them--would have been better.
