Does anyone know if any specific schools within BC are harder or easier to get into than others? For example, is the Management school more difficult to get into than the nursing school or something like that?

A&S is probably the easiest to get into (depending on your major, of course..aka premed is harder to get into that communications). I'd say CSONursing is the hardest, because they are the most selective with their students (their are only 80 CSON students in the class of 09). CSOM and LSOE are right there in the middle...

It all depends on what kind of person is applying for a spot in one of these schools that makes them "easier" or "harder" to get into.

don't try to use that to get around the system though. More trouble than it's worth, you'll just end up screwing yourself in the end.

I agree with Pongo, don't apply to one school over another just because it's "easier" to get into it. Apply where you want to study, and if you show high interest and desire to attend that school, it will defintiely increase your chances of acceptance.

Agreed. You have to stay in the school you apply to for a whole year before you can transfer out. That means you're not getting the 'core requirements' of whatever school you want to be in out of the way and will find yourself further behind than your classmates.
