Im a community college student looking to transfer in the are of UI/UX or HCI field. All I seem to find are masters programs and not any for bachelors.

Do you need to stay in the NYC area? Cornell has some of those in Human Ecology.

I looked at Cornell and for the amazing prestige the university has I’m not sure if my academics are strong enough.
I have a roughly 3.4 GPA and still need to take my college level math later on after a remedial. My SAT scores I took in high school of 1050 is horrible. As for awards I have book cover design award and soon published artwork for educational magazine.

Also, New Jersey Institute of Technology seems okay since its closer than Cornell. Though If I can get in Cornell I would have a better opportunity to study or maybe minor in other subjects.
