The only one I know of is USC and their Master of Computer Science with Specialization in Game Development program. Does anyone know if there are any others like this or is USC the only one with this type of program?

i thought cornell also had something like this…

Guildhall at SMU?

George Mason universitys College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) and the Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering offer a degree in computer game design. I think it may only be bachelor’s, but you should check to see if they have MS or higher.

UC Santa Cruz offers a BS in computer game design, but I don’t know if they have an MS. You could check there.

I think Gamasutra lists schools which put an emphasis in game development. Another way to find out would be to check GDC (Game Developers Conference) for any presentations from schools.

CMU has the ETC program.

You might want to check out RIT
