Hi, so I am taking Anatomy 1 this fall. I debated back and forth if I’d go for associate’s or a bachelor’s. Ultimately decided a bachelor’s because in the end I can land a job with the hospital I work at. LPN is my backup plan again can land a job with the hospital I work at doing outpatient work.
Anyways every nurse I know who I work with has in some capacity worked with the hospital prior to being a nurse. Been guaranteed once a nurse part time work once you pass the board’s. So that is pretty sweet being a new grad getting a job right away, have a lot to.conquer in front of me not worried though.
Any who a few people are encouraging me to go the accelerated route. In actuality probably be best for me I learn the best cramping things in, received a 4.0 in a math class I took in only 2 week’s. Downside is I still have to work in some capacity to be considered to work as a nurse down the road.
Is it doable to work during an accelerated program?
How many second degree.students went the traditional route. Looking at the program it’s maybe an extra semester or two, which isn’t bad. The only difference is they offer summer classes for the accelerated program.
Appreciate the feedback.
