Any seniors excited to go to college in a few months?!?

LOL so I've heard. It's really strange...some socal people stare at me like I'm crazy when I say hecka or hella. People from out-of-state think I'm even crazier.

I'm not lying when I say everyone uses it here. But yes, I do live in NorCal. gg.

goldenratiophi, same here. I really should be more concerned about the fact that I don't qualify for fin aid at my school, but there's not much I can do about that besides preparing myself for the loans I'm going to have to take out.

Being excited is just way more convenient right now. So yes, I'm very, very excited. I'm nervous, but I can't wait to get out of here!

I'm gonna miss my school, my home, my relative lack of responsibilities, my classmates and friends. High school has been so rewarding, exciting, and fun for me. ****. I can't believe I'm going to college. But don't get me wrong -- I'm pumped :-).

I'll be more excited once I actually know where I'm going. It's a bit frustrating to get all these people asking where I'm going to college before acceptances are out.

I can't wait to get out of here. It's been my dream to live downtown in a major city, and now I'll be in downtown Seattle:)

So I just happened to be looking at Wikipedia's article on Seattle, and it said it has a population of about 600,000.

"Wow," I said, "that's almost one fifth the size of LA (not including the surrounding cities)."

Still the biggest city in the pacific northwest though (I'm assuming you were saying that Seattle isn't that big).

I am sooo terrified and anxious and excited at the same time. Being 1000+ miles away from my parents is going to be harddddd :/

It's a little hard not to be excited. Everything is going to change; for the better or worst. Things have been so hectic this last year that it may even be relaxing to have a change of environment.

I really don't see a negative aspect to college at this point (except cost). I will be moving from a school of rich idiots to hopefully a more stabilized and diversified school where the intelligence mean should be much higher. Not to mention escaping the monotony of my family and the daily schedule of school.

I'm not excited at all.

First of all I was pretty much forced to go to the college I'm going to go to, and I used to like it, but when people pretty much shove your nose into it....there's just that bitter feeling. Also I'll be living with my completely overbearing parents while 99% of my friends go to colleges somewhere else.

So no freedom, no friends, nothing new (I do dual enrollment already) = one sh***y college experience coming right up

ThisCouldBeHeavn: I totally understand what you mean. Everyone asks me too and I have to tell them that I won't find out till next month. So annoying...

huzzah!! we're GRADUATING!! my friends and i are already coming up with guest lists to graduation, and what we'll wear, etc... I'm thrilled, psyched, and pumped to be OUT OF HERE!! thank goodness for the end of the year!

:D

I already graduated

didn't go to college last year

I'm way pscyched!

CrystalProphecy, haha, I so know what you mean. When I moved to Arizona, everyone made fun of me because I was like, "that's hecka cool!" to everything haha!
