Any seniors out there bothering to take the November test?

Not too late to prepare, is it? I'm feeling pretty doubtful of my score on today's SAT due to careless mistakes.

I’m in the same boat.

The thing is, I wanted to get at least a 2200 on my SAT. However, I know I left two blank and missed a grid-in question on the Math section, missed at least one question on the Writing, and probably missed several - again - on the Critical Reading. My only sure improvement was actually finishing the essay this time around, of which I’m sure will receive at least a 10.

Should I hope for the superscore or take my chances with the November SAT given that I got a 2160 the first time I took the SAT? I’m applying to Ivies and other top 25 universities and have URM status as my best hook.

I’m with you…
I took SAT once in June and got 2150…But i need at least a 2200
When I was writing I felt like I was daydreaming…had a flu before the test too ><
i totally bombed the critical reading section…and for the writing part i got bogged down by some idiom questions…Math was ok
I would be surprised if my score this time goes over 2000…
I want to take it again but there is just too much school work.
With only 1 month left I’m not sure how much i can improve on the critical reading…
Dunno if it’s worth it because there are tons of applications essays to write at the end of the year…

November I’m taking the Subject Tests: Math I & II; US History.
So yeah, today was my last chance to take the Reasoning Test, but I’m also taking the ACT later this month.

what is the superscore!? why is everyone saying that? what does it mean? does it mean a great curve or something

also same boat as you except…
i skipped 18 questions ond 9 wrong on Critical Reading! T_T do you think i can get at least 2100? with maybe around 650 and 780 on math??

I need to take the Subject Tests in November so I can’t.

Taking: US History, World/Euro (forget which one it is) and Lit

Should I take Math to show that I’m well-rounded even though I’m entirely focused on the social sciences?

with 18 skipped and 9 wrong, no way you got above 550 in CR

18 skipped, 9 wrong is a 550 according to the SAT calculator.

@ Radioheadbro I’d take the Math Level II test if you’ve taken Pre-Calculus and did well in the class. Otherwise, don’t bother, as many top colleges look down upon the Math Level I.

Also, will all colleges whose deadlines are on December 1st or after take November SAT scores, which are released on November 22nd?

I’m currently in College Algebra…and failing (mostly because I have an awful professor though). I probably shouldn’t bother taking it then.

Too bad I’m planning on majoring in Economics.

@GoldenCollege
Superscoring is when a college takes your highest M, CR, and W from all the tests you’ve ever taken and complies them to make a new composite score. (:

They most likely will as long as you send it to them before their application deadline.
