Any Seniors Taking the SAT IIs in November?

I have registered to take the SAT IIs in both October and November.

I plan on taking the Math I and Biology - E subject tests (and maybe us history) in October and Math II and US History in November.

Is anyone else doing this? Is it too late to take it for regular admissions? I think November scores should be received quite some time before the regular decision deadline...

buuuuuump?

I am! Taking US History and Biology E.

Do you feel prepared at all for this two? I took AP biology last year so a lot of it is review but I think us history is a little harder because it covers so much… Plus, I barely prepared for history so I think I will wait until November to take it.

Have you taken any sat IIs before?

I’m also considering taking Spanish…

maybe, we’ll see how the october SAT IIs go, i’ve got lit, chem, and math II. And I think december is probably the last time to take SATs for most schools, I think some even allow january. so i think you’re covered either way. If you took AP us, you should take the US SATs, from what my friend said, its pretty easy.

I’ll probably be taking Math II in November. :P

I was going to retake physics in november… but decided not to (got 710). sat ii’s really have minimal impact in admissions if your score starts with a “7”

@AssassinActual, I heard that too but I didn’t take APUSH… I took an advanced history course which was more rigorous and in-depth than a regular level history course though… However, I don’t feel prepared to take it this saturday so I will probably take it in November.

Best of luck with lit! I heard it’s very difficult!!

@alphae, have you started preparing? What math course did you take last year and which are you taking this year?

@cortana431, I would like to take them to fulfill entry requirements for some universities in Scotland (one requires two SAT IIs with a score of 650+ and another requires 600+). [That’s the minimum so I definitely want to get at least a 700].
Any tips?

I’m no longer a senior (currently a gap year student), but I’ll be taking Physics and German with Listening.

Last date to give SAT Reasoning Tests or SAT Subject Tests for regular decision for almost all colleges is December, so it shouldn’t be an issue.

@MickyS, Thanks! :slight_smile: I was worried… haha
