I don't have a car and I don't want a car. It's a whole lot of responsibilty, which I do not want to take on myself right now. So, I am stuck w/ public trans.

i don't really live in a really dense city for that matter. and it is kinda embarrassing going around in taxis. i usually bike around town, but its winter and i can't do that.

yeah but they need the cars for business purposes so they need them all the time.

my mom lets me drive to school in her car but i don't care about that because then i have to return it by like 3 pm. so it defeats the whole purpose of driving.

it sucks because i can't go to the gym everyday otherwise i'd be at the Y for like 5 hours doing nothing

ha, i don't. it is horrible, I think I am the only senior on the planet who has to walk home from school. once in a while i get rides, but my parents both work so they cant pick me up. its worse when its freezing cold out. i dont live close to school either.

Nope, our school doesn't bus anyone, even people over 2 miles away! I only have a few more months of hs ne way so next year college will be nice where your dorm and classrooms are nice and close ;) Plus it'll be warming up soon (HOPEFULLY) and its much more pleasant in nice weather.

I don't have a car either. I wish I did. My dad takes me to school and I have to ride the bus home most of the time. It's really annoying because they have to pick up the students from the middle school first so I'm on the bus for about 40 minutes. On tuesdays and wednesdays though my mom picks me up since I stay after school and go to the weight room.

no car for me either. have a driver's license, but no car. usually get rides from my parents. I suppose it's not so bad. When we go out to lunch at school, my friends take me. It can be inconvenient at times though, especially when there's group projects and have to meet throughout the week at different times. But other than that, it's not so bad. Our school charges $75 for a student parking permit anyway, so I'm better off in that sense.

Those of you without a car will be happier then most when you finally get one. I had a car my senior year, but the thing was a real pile. It was a 92 Ford Tempo, had pealing paint, missing hubcaps, no air, and only one working window, which is not fun when you live in SoCal.

That car survived up until this past September when the transmission started having serious problems, and I finally got myself a car that people don't stare at laughing.

I have a licensce and a car. Most of my friends are without tho so I always have to drive, UGH and its annoying how this one friend always EXPECTS liek I'm going to drive somewhere. Its annoying it really is. I think its has lowered my social life more than improved it. I offer rides to people who aren't like that one friend. At the same time its annoying cuz I can't go to a party and drink because there would be noo one to drive me home.

I have a license, but my parents refuse to buy me a car and my dad is afraid that I'm going to crash his car if I use it. It sucks, because I have to take the bus in the morning, so I can't go to extra help in the mornings and then I have to wait after school every day for two hours after I'm done with everything because the other school buses take way too long to get to my house and I feel like i'm going to puke by the time it finally gets there. And then on weekends and stuff my parents will sometimes let me sue their car, but most of the time they give me a ride and complain excesively about it.

I have had my license for one year, and I have insurance and a car, but I can't drive because my mom thinks I will crash the car and she thinks I am not responsible enough yet (oookay...I only have straight A's). I can only drive with her in the car...and then they complain about taking me places.
