Any sense to take SAT II German as a German native speaker?

<p>Hi there,</p>

<p>I have heard that most kids who want to go to college are taking three different subject tests.
I already took Math II and I am going to take Physics.
I was wondering if it makes any sense to take German as a third optional subject test
even though I am a German native speaker.
I just went through the first test of the Official Study Guide for all SAT Subject Tests
and it was really easy.
I want to study mechanical engineering so I am covered well with Physics and Math.
I am also taking the TOEFL.</p>

<p>Your opinion is appreciated, thanks!</p>

<p>It definitely won’t do you any harm. I’m Chinese, but I can’t speak or write Chinese. :(</p>

<p>It won’t do you harm, but it will not count as a third subject test. Most colleges do not accept an SAT II in a native language. Sorry :(</p>
