<p>Everyone has a chance, but I am afraid your son's chance at Stanford is pretty slim (sorry). If he loves it more than anything in the world, apply, but if not, do not waste the money.
Stanfords average SAT is 1460/1600, and average GPA is rather close to 4.0, probably around 3.9. Many people with those stats do not get in anyway, since almost 90% of applicants are rejected.</p>
