<p>Any one else on here a member of a speech team/forensics (speech + debate) team? </p>
<p>If so any thoughts on it? Dislikes about it? Likes about it?</p>

<p>I was on it freshman year and I would have kept at it if i hadn't moved.</p>
<p>Anyway, its a great experience. It was a lot of fun, I did learn a lot about public speaking and what not. Plus, you get to compete and have a chance to go to state/national competitions. You should really do it, don't let the opportunity pass you by.</p>

<p>Tournaments are loads of fun even if you get last in every round. The other competitors are generally very cool, too.</p>
<p>If you have any specific questions feel free to ask me. I have competed in OI, this year I'm working on an Expos, and I'm pretty well-versed in most other events.</p>
