Any Spring 2018 transfers?

Anyone apply for the Spring 2018 sem? Stats?

Well, I have applied. However, I don’t think I can get in. I am an international student from China, and don’t apply for any financial aid or scholarship. my major is Math. here is my statistics,
1.high school GPA 3.95 out of 4.0
2. College GPA 3.97 out of 4.0
3.Midterm report: A, A, A, A, B, I am taking two graduate level math courses this semester.
4.TOEFL 88, (it is the reason why I don’t think I can get in)
5. SAT, never taken SAT reasoning test because of my poor English
6. SAT subject tests: Math level 2: 800, Physics: 800
7. get top 300 in Putnam mathematical exam, but I don’t think admission office will know it. But if they know it I think I can get in since it is the most important math competition for US and Canada college students. And I set the record of my current college.
8. Internship in my father’s factory
9. Volunteer in a Church
Having three recommendations from math professors. But I think everyone have three letters.

Followings are my high school’s Prizes
10. Second Prize( provincial level) in CPhO ( Chinese Physics Olympiad)
11. Copper Medal in China’s Southeastern Mathematical Olympiad
12. First prize in Pan-Pearl River Physics Olympiad sponsored by IAS, Hong Kong University of Science and Tech
13. First Prize in my province’s Chemistry Competition
14. Men double Runner-up in my high school’s Badminton Competition

OK, I am currently in a regional University in the USA. I think it’s good but not suitable for me. You might it is strange why I want to go to a Liberal Arts College to study mathematics rather than a Big universities. The point is that my parents both hope me to get into a famous and good and top college.

I have no other choice because of my poor English but choosing my current college as a transition school. And then transfer to top college.

I got rejected. Anyone got accepted by Middlebury College. Can I know your statistics?

@tianyasijunbukewang - Sorry you have been rejected! I know your parents want you to go to a prestigious school. But just to share another perspective - the most successful people I know threw themselves into whatever college they attended! Get involved. Learn all you can. Find a mentor. Dream BIG for your life after college. As an antidote…my husband attended a very prestigious school for undergrad and grad school. I attended a state school and a good, solid grad school - we both landed the same job at a Global Big 5 Consulting firm (where we met!). He had a LOT more debt than I did. But our paths were very different. It’s attitude and perseverance that will get you there! Don’t be too discouraged.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks, your experience encouraged me, and it is very helpful and instructive for me. Also, I knew that Middlebury College admit very few students, and That’s fine.
