Any strategies for the identifying sentence error section of the writing section for the SAT?

Hi I'm studying for the NOV. SAT and I need help/advice for the writing section. I'm having trouble with the ones where they give you a long double spaced sentence with underlined portions that are possible errors and you have to choose which underlined portion is the error or bubble in E for no error. I took a practice and got 10 questions wrong in total for the writing. 8 of the wrong ones are in that part so I know I can get a really high score if I can only correct what I'm doing wrong. Any tips/tricks that are helpful for this part of the SAT?
Thanks.

I would recommend looking at where you’re answering questions wrong. When I was improving my writing I realized there are just a few rules where you have to remember and be careful about for each sentence. Look at WHY you got each question wrong and you will see that you misunderstood things such as tense, subject-verb agreement, parallel structure, and misplaced modifiers.
