Any suggestion about Freshmen GE courses schedule?

<p>I am a incoming freshman who will be in Warren next year. I know that picking classes in college is so much different than in high school where most of people only have to decide between honor's or cp's. Does anyone have any suggestion about how should a freshman's schedule look like? I personally would like to take all science courses in 1 quarter and all language and history in the other quarter. And does anyone have any opinion about any specific GE course?</p>

<p>Also how many courses do most people per quarter? Because I'm thinking about transfering to like UCLA or UCB next year, I would try to get as many units as possible while maintaining a decent GPA.</p>

<p>You’ll probably change your mind about transferring. Anyway, the classes you take depend on your major. Typical freshman Warren GE’s are WCWP10A, the cultural diversity req (if you haven’t already fulfilled it), and maybe a lower div major class or a lower div PofC class. You can overlap some classes with other more broad reqs (ie. formal skills) so try to do that if you want. 16 units is considered the norm, though some people I met took 12 their first quarter.</p>
