Any Suggestions for Mech E schools w/ great aid

Hello, I'm a rising junior who is an IL resident who is trying to build a list of engineering schools to apply to that include reaches I could possibly get into, matches, and safeties that would offer me great aid wether need based or merit for my grades and test scores. So from what I calculated, my cumulative unweighted GPA is a 3.69 for my first 2 years of HS (since my school only shows the weighted GPA), anyway my Cumulative weighted GPA is a 3.9, and my ACT Score will range from a 28-31 because I have been intensely studying and will not settle for anything less since my PLAN was around that range. I have 4-5 ECs and a couple of leadership positions and volunteer work.

So here is the list of engineering schools I've been thinking of applying to-tell me what you think:

•Worcester Polytechnic Institute

• Polytechnic Institute

•University of Notre Dame

•University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign

•Trinity College

•Marquette University

•Northwestern University

•Tufts University

•NYU-Poly

•Illinois Institute of Technology

•University of Illinois-Chicago

•Case Western Reserve University

•Southern Illinois University-Carbondale

How much can you afford to pay?
Have you calculated an EFC number yet?

Not a lot so for some of these schools I will be relying on aid and I have used an EFC calculator and mine said it was $0

Focus on studying for the PSAT. There are many scholarship opportunities for National Merit Finalists.

At this point, you should be more concerned about building an excellent resume than selecting individual colleges.
