Any suggestions for my application list?

Hello, thanks for your time everyone. I really don't know what my number 2 choice would be if I don't get into Notre Dame. I am planning on going with a focus in pre-med.. not sure what I'll get my original degree in. Here are my stats and my list of schools... any commentation or suggestions would be appreciated.

White Male
Small/Medium sized public school in Illinois
Average ACT: 20.5 (few take SAT)
GPA: 3.89 (will be higher I'm pulling straight As even in my AP courses)
Rank: 10/220
SAT: 1470 (780m 690v)
Lot's of involvement...
4 years youth group
senior class vice president
Peer mediator
Student ambassador
Track
2 week missions trip to Guatemala this summer.. I was able to fundraise all $2k of the cost.
Math team (oralist)
Job..
Baskin Robbins (end of freshman year - current)

I think my reccomendations came out pretty well, especially the one from my principal.

I don't think my essay is outstanding but I think I wrote it well and that it showed a lot about me.

My school list so far:
UIUC (applied, accepted)
Wheaton (applied)
University of Notre Dame (applied)
U Michigan-Ann Arbor (applying)
Gordon College (applying)
Northwestern ?
Yale ?
U Penn ?

As you can tell.. I don't know what I want and I'm not sure where I'll apply in the end. If you can make suggestions for my stats and pre-med major I'd appreciate it. Notre Dame is my definite number one.. after that I really don't know.

Thanks

Are you taking your SAT II's this weekend? Northwestern and U Penn would be worth a shot if you do well on them.

Yes, SAT II Math 2c, Writing, and US History.. but I'm not expecting to do great. Also, the kids from my school that have gotten in to Northwestern have not taken the SAT IIs.

Put in some time on prep, if you can. At least take the tests from Real SAT II's. You should be able to do well on the math - the Kaplan book is decent and doesn't take too long to review. The PR book seems to be good for writing. If your US History score is poor on the pretest, don't take it unless you have to - takes a long time to review. A little review can go a long way - but you can to use your remaining time resourses wisely. Also, get enough sleep. Your math and writing scores will suffer if you are mentally fuzzy!

Wow.. Im realizing I should have posted this on the college admissions board.. but if you guys could help some more I'd appreciate it.

bump please

i think you have a shot at Northwestern

don't even try yale you have to be nuts to make it into there

i agree, Yale is practically impossible to get into. and admissions decisions can be so random. with their 10% acceptance rate, how can they disguinish one applicant from another if everyone has high a GPA and high SAT's, other than doing "eenie, meenie, minie, moe..."

one of my friends got rejected at Yale last year. i'm not sure of her GPA, but she took all AP and honors classes and had mostly A's and a few B's. i think her SAT's were like a 1500?
