Any suggestions where to look based on my info?

Can someone give me some guidance as to where I would have a good chance of getting in based on my information?

What is your unweighted GPA?

Is Massachusetts your state of residence?

UW GPA: 3.2, and I live in North Carolina. Sorry I forgot to mention that.

How much can you or your family afford? Private? Public? large? small?

Your SAT is a bit low. Hopefully retesting will give better results. Also, good luck on the ACT…some kids do better with that. :)

How much will your parents pay each year? If you don’t know, ask. :)

What is your likely major/career?

Once we know how much your parents will pay and your intended major, we can better advise.

:)

My parents told us (my twin brother and I, if that helps you more) not to worry about the cost of college. I can tell you that I would most likely need financial aid, I have a stay-at-home mom and my dad works at North Carolina State University-and appearently there is no discount for being the child of a university employee? My parents did tell me that they have $20,000 in the bank for us-$10,000 each.

Does this help?

I’m surprised your father would say not to worry about the cost of college when he works at one and should know how much they cost.

Maybe look at UNC Greensboro.

I think they just don’t want us to limit ourselves based on cost.

Thanks!
