Hello Everyone, this summer I am just doing an online pre-calc course through cty, community service at a library, and I already went on college visits, 14 to be exact. They were all along the east coast (Range of safeties, matches, and reaches). I won't be in the country until august so I would like to know of any summer programs exclusively in August. I feel like I am not doing much this summer.

It’s far too late to apply to any “good” summer programs.

I agree, if you want to apply to really competitive summer programs I’d suggest looking for some this summer and writing down all the financial aid dates, as well as the deadlines so you won’t miss out the summer before senior year!

Honestly though, I suggest studying for SAT’s/ACT’s those are extremely important and you don’t always need summer programs to stand out in your college applications. It’s what you do that should make you stand out from everyone, try entering competitions, or keep continuing to pursue what you are interested in doing…such as drawing, acting, singing,or just volunteering anything in general. You don’t want to do what everyone else is doing, you want to make yourself “special” ! Good luck your junior year, be sure to prepare for all your classes as well. You can think of this summer as a way to get ahead of your classmates, while they’re enjoying their summer programs! xx
