Any summer programs in WA?

Hi,

Can someone please help me find some summer programs in Washington State (preferably in Western Washington)? I know it's too late for the Summer of 2006 but are there any for the Summer of 2007?

I'm becoming a junior this fall.

Thank you very much for your help.

lol...maybe you can intern for M$ XD

lol that would be a pretty cool job and pretty u$eful.. :-)

I forgot to add I am looking for programs in Medicine or Business.

I considered U-Doc but it seems to be for Under-represented Minority children.

Questions.
U-DOC says "Underrepresented minority, rural-area and/or disadvantaged students from the WWAMI region are encouraged to apply." But it's not limited only to those students. Have you looked around their website? I certainly think anyone can apply.

Why does it have to be in Washington? Do you want just a day program or are sleep-over programs okay? There are tons of summer programs if you're willing to go outside Washington. Look through the summer program threads here.

Try a google search. You can start looking here. http://tbp.mit.edu/highschool/

Check with your guidance counselors and science or business teachers at your high school. Also, look at the websites of high schools in that area. Many times they list summer programs. I have found private school sites to be especially helpful in finding summer programs. Here's a link to Washington private schools. http://www.k12.wa.us/RelatedSites/default.aspx#privateschools

Thanks a lot for those links they are very helpful. I would like to go out of WA but I don't want to go too far away from home.

For U-DOC, wouldn't the URM children have a higher priority?

Thanks again for your help.

SIMUW is good
