My son has been admitted but we haven't rec'd financial package yet. He really wants Bentley, but I think Stonehill would also be a good match for him---He got plenty of $$$ from Bryant U, but has little interest in even visting there!

We are visiting Stonehill next week, I am considering above stonehill, indiana, michigan or bentley, but am keeping my options opened. Alhtough its a smaller school then what i have been considering am going to keep my options open, still waiting on like 3 more schools decisions, if i get into GW i am going there with no questions, otherwise considering my other options? was he rejected or waitlisted from bentley? where else did he apply?

My daughter is a Junior at Stonehill. She loves it there. Beautiful campus, lots to do, shuttle bus to the mall and T stop. She is a bio major with a psych minor, but has many friends that are business majors. My son is High School senior, he is also considering Bentley, which also has a very nice campus. We will be attending the open house on the 8th.

Hi!
My son was admitted RD to Bentley and Stonehill--his top two choices (w/Sacred Heart a close third).

We are waiting for f.a. pkgs from both these schools. He has several friends at Bentley--

It is a GREAT idea to keep your options open--that's what I keep trying to tell my son. We will see!

I heard Bentley f.a. was mailed yesterday--don't know about Stonehill though.

Keli - My son got into all the schools he applied to (Bentley, Stonehill, Sacred Heart, Bryant, Quinnipiac, Merrimack & USM), which makes me think he didn't reach far enough--but, what's done is done. He is happy with his choices, and so are we. I hope the $$ comes through for him , as this is a MAJOR consideration. He really wants Bentley. Should know soon.

We are going to open house on April 8th too!

Stonehill financial aid packages were mailed today, and are posted online if you have the password they sent you.

I just got my appeal back from Stonehill and they offered my $26,125 for my freshman year!!!! So now I think I will go!

Could you please tell me whether there is any flexibility in the program for freshman year or is it completely prescribed? I am interested in exploring different courses so I can figure out a major.

Also I love the campus and environment and such, but when my friend visited to see if she wanted to go she said that it seemed like it was a little more dead set on religion than she wanted. Is this true? (Don't give me an answer like someone running for office would, I would really like to know). Thanks!!

Hi, anyone here at stonehill or has a child at stonehill? I am considering it......and really would love to speak to someone who could give me some information. THANKS!

Ya, so anyways I'm going. Can't turn down over 26k for freshman year at a school that looks extremely nice and happy lol

figgy did you visit? how was it? does it feel really small? thats one disadvantage from my perspective, but i do hear its a good school, how would you compare the kids who go there? is it prestigous? THANKS!

Ya I visited. Out of the like 20 colleges I visited it had the most happy people. It also had a great environment. I actually like that it's a small school. It's small but really close to Boston, which is amazing. I'm not sure about how well-known it is but I know it is a good school. If you're planning on going to grad school after I heard of people going to great grad schools during the tour. It's really what you put into it, as with other schools.
