3.0+ GPA and IGETC… did you TAG? if so you’re in. If not why didn’t you tag as you appear to be eligible?

I thought I tagged but it turns out I only checked ucsb on my app… I meant to check ucsd as well but apparently i didn’t… i don’t even want to go to ucsb so it’s an extremely excruciating situation… I know they have an influx of applicants this year making the non tagers extremely liable to rejection

No.

Absolutely no thoughts.

With TAG, yeah. Without, no.

you really think I don’t have a shot? I mean, I realize the chances are slim because this year will be tougher than last, but if it were last year I would be in without tag so why are you so positive it’s a no. I am not looking for people to say yes or no because I think that is not possible to estimate but rather a guess of chances. I would rate my chances at 30% to get accepted… just saying

No idea man. A lot of should haves at this point but…I’m still pending so dutch to me.

I’m a one year transfer and I have a:

4.0 GPA
History Major
Will be IGETC certified.
Already completed lower divisions.
99 quarter units

Still waiting on: UCSD, UCSB and Davis

Accepted at: UCSC

If it goes down to things like GPA between non-Tags like myself and you then I would say no unless you have some exceptional intangibles.
