I'm taking AP Bio in the fall. Any tips on how to do very well though ought the year (As) and get a 5 on the AP?

It’s mostly memorization and understanding a few key concepts. If you’re terrible at memorizing, well, good luck.

^That’s true. But that could be said about most APs.

My advice would be to enjoy the material, and try not to procrastinate. I did that, and I ended up spending my entire spring break reading a prep book, so I could do well on the exam. AP Bio covers a lot of information. Also, try to understand the concepts. That will help you a lot when trying to figure out the details. Try to look at the big picture and connect things together. And also, use Cliffs AP Bio to review/supplement your class material.

This is what I did: (i got a 5)

My class was a lecture-based class with notes and powerpoints that hit key topics and such, so what I did was I made sure I took thorough notes over chapters in the book on my own, then accentuated the important bits when the teacher gave her lecture in class. It helped solidify any concepts that I had been foggy on, as well as exposed me to all of the material.
