Any tips on how to ace my AP Chem tests

I really want to earn very high scores on my tests but i need a new way to study. We just had our first Chemistry test a week ago and i got an 83 percent but im not satisfied. I felt the questions were easy but I get a lower score than what i expect. At the moment i have the book Chemistry the Central science (Brown, Lemay, Bursten), and a Princeton Review book. I've read the chapters of the textbook and done some examples but it seems its not enough. Any advice please for those of you who have aced this class?

yea, i’m in the same boat. i have both central science and princeton review like you, but i’m not sure how to study. our 1st and 2nd tests were just stoichiometry and balancing equations and got a C+ then D+. I know how to do them, but do it so slowly…and yea, i know you’re supposed to practice, practice, but i do all the homework problems then try to do extra and never seem to get faster. plus, princeton review doesn’t really follow the order of central science so my teacher’s recommendation of getting a prep book to study along with the textbook for tests isn’t working out. any1 got any tips, much appreciated, thanks!
