any tools to improve SAT writing?

I got a 610 last time, but i'd like to improve this section

I got a 700 in March (first time),I’d like to raise it to an 800

my concern is that my score might drop instead (I got 4 wrong on the MC and I think it was pure luck cuz on almost all my practice tests,I got at least 10 wrong all the time),

Would I be able to pull a 800

thanks for answering my question?

Know you’re grammar rules:

Make sure you know all of those. Knowing those helped a lot on my PSAT but I forgot a lot of them by the SAT which was like, 4 months after, and my score went down 70 points :/

^Agreed. Know all the common SC mistakes. The writing section is always predictable, they always test you on the same kinds of grammar rules-so just take as many practice tests as you can and make sure you know the right answer and why it is correct.
Another way to improve your writing section is the essay. The essay can really help your score if your not doing well in the MC part. Practice writing timed essays, and try to come up with generic examples of literature, historical events, etc. for your essay (Great Gatsby, MLK, etc…). Many people say the Math section is the easiest to improve your score on, but I think writing is definitely just as easy, if not easier. You just need to be able to recognize patterns…
Good Luck!

wow, that site is fantastic, thanks!

I got an 80 on the PSAT writing. I read grammar books for fun. I’m not even joking. I literally read grammar books for fun. So I think that’s the way to improve your writing score.

I posted my PSAT score instead of my SAT score because my SAT score wasn’t that good (My Essay apparently sucked even though I absolutely loved it and would have never changed it).
