Any Transfers here get the UCB Regents?

Just wanted to see if/how many transfers here got it.

No, did you? I just got an invitation to apply for UCLA Regents, and…as much as I hate to be that girl, I admit I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t get an invite from Berkeley. Oh well!

I got the UCLA Regents a few days ago too. Does this mean I didn’t get one from Berkeley? Oh that would be incredibly disappointing. Anyone know the dates they are usually sent out?

how do they decide who to send invitations to?

obviously they havent been sent out yet
if none of us got it

Do you guys all have GPA 4.0 for UCLA Regents?

No, I have a 3.9something thanks to one A-minus. Though I guess since not all schools detract GPA points for minus grades, UCLA figured I might still have a 4.0. I hope I’m not out of the running as soon as they see my transcript - that would be annoying.

I had a 4.0 up until my fall semester grades. Now I have a 3.85. I still received the invitation though.

2/13-2/14 Emails were sent out, don’t ASSume things

Oh no… I have a 4.0 and I didn’t get one. I guess that means I’m rejected :(

Jesus Christ. You guys should use the search tool. UCB does not send out Regents invitations to transfers students as UCLA does for both transfer and freshman applicants, and as UCB does for freshman applicants. UCB simply sends an email regarding Regents *after *official admission decisions have been released.

This is all just so nostalgic. I miss the days when all I cared about were admission decisions.

If a student didn’t receive regents invite for UCLA with a 3.98-4.0…does that mean they were rejected?

Yes, move along.

Do you really think anyone has an answer for that? No one knows. I would say, probably not, though.
