Sorry if the title brings back bad memories for any of you guys, but I'm just wondering what kind of GPAs got rejected to UC Davis last year (and even the year before that). There's quite a few posts on people getting accepted, but I feel that rejection threads/posts will give this years transfers a better feel for what it takes to get admitted to Davis. I'm trying to transfer there as a Physics major with a 3.17 (no TAG), so I'm kinda worried right now lol.

So yeah, fire away below with your stats if you got rejected (or accepted with a low GPA)!

I was accepted into the Political Science program with a 3.1, but I did have a pretty good personal statement, was IGETC certified, really good ec’s (student gov, clubs, community activism. etc). I was pretty surprised to get accepted and I knew people who got into UCD with pretty low GPA’s around the 2.8-ish area.

I have a 3.17 also, but I applied to Environmental Toxicology, which I don’t think is a very competitive major. So, we’ll see. Physics is probably harder to get into, I’d imagine. I wish all schools would post stats for each major’s accepted GPA range, or as least average GPA like UCLA.

It used to be posted until 2009, and now the site has been taken down (since 2012 as far as I know).
