Any UConn Transfers here?

<p>Hi all</p>

<p>I'm a full-time Sophomore at Western Connecticut State University with a 3.4 GPA, and I'm seriously considering transferring to UConn in Fall 2010. The school I'm attending now doesn't have the major I want to pursue, which is physics. And from what I have read so far about UConn, it seems to be the best option for an in-state student who doesn't want to pay an overly expensive OOS tuition and wants to be prepared for graduate school (for physics).</p>

<p>I have a couple of questions for any transfers out there, if they don't mind answering.</p>

<p>1) Are you happy with your decision?</p>

<p>2) Did you receive sufficient financial aid?</p>

<p>3) Specifically for anyone in the physics department: would you say it's a decent program?</p>

<p>not one personally but i’m from ct as well & i’ve seen a lot of classmates who went to college before i did go to a private school somewhere, and almost eveyone i know who transfers back to ct goes to uconn, so i’m assuming they think it’s a good decision. :)</p>
