<p>Hi I am applying for 2010 entry from the UK and would really appreciate if any current UK students could post a link to/put up their admission profiles. Mainly as American academic and extracurricular terminology is very confusing (and therefore a little difficult to compare my own to)! Thank you in advance!!! :)</p>
<p>My Duke son, while not from UK, has followed the UK curriculum at an Int’l British curriculum school in the EU. In brief:</p>
<p>SAT I - 2290 (Math 800, Rading 790, Writing 700)
SAT II - Bio (M) 740, Chem 790, Math IIC - 730
6 A Levels - 4 A + 2B
9 O Levels - 8 A*/A + 1B
EC’s - Model UN Leadership, Global Young Leaders, Drama & Musicals (lots!), Orchestra, School Choir, DOE Silver, Hockey, Tennis
Volunteer: School of the Blind, Helping at an Autistic Center for children, Waiter & Entertainer at local charity events.
Teacher Recommendations: 1 Very Good + 1 Excellent + 1 Brilliant (1 was in lieu of interview)
Essay: Good (probbaly not great)
Good Global Experiences with EU, Asia, USA, etc having lived around the world
Internships: Two summers relevant interest area
Citizenship: USA</p>
