Any UNC-Asheville Mechatronics or 2+2 students/grads?

My first B.A. was in general studies (young and didn't know what I wanted), but I'm now looking to pursue a second bachelor's in the mechanical/mechatronics field. Since I live fairly close to UNCA, I thought it might be worth it to see if I could get any opinions from some of those who are attending or have graduated from either the Mechatronics program, or the 2+2 program with NC State.

I dropped by UNCA the other day and got a good vibe from the faculty/students, but didn't get a chance to talk to many of the students for more than a couple minutes at a time (rushing around to classes). Still haven't had a chance to see NC State, but the overwhelming positive attitude towards the school is enough for me to go off of for now.

So, any UNCA Mechatronics or 2+2 students/grads out there with opinions on the coursework, faculty, co-op/internship assistance, job prospects, or anything else?

Side note: also checking out UNCC's program with the motorsports concentration. It"s pretty much between unca and uncc, so any opinions on that would be welcomed as well.

Thanks!

I’m going to bump this… Still trying to figure it out, nobody seems to know anything about UNCA, bad sign maybe?

Probably because it isn’t exactly an engineering powerhouse, so you aren’t going to find a ton of people who know much about it. I honestly don’t know a thing about it.
