hey,

I am a transfer student who got into webb tower ?? does anyone know anything about this place??
any info is higly appreciated.

uschica. shes somewhere around here.

ya i know, she already answered my question, i am justr wondering if theres other people who know more about this place !!

first and foremost you have to have the$$$ to afford this place.

proton,
why?? is it that expensive??? its on campus, !! its like the price of any dorms, right?? plz give me more infor??
thank you

its a private school and its really expensive. it cost like 3 X more than any uc school.

Proton, I'd say that's just a tad off topic.

Haneen, he wasn't talking about Webb. Try housing.usc.edu to find info on it.

uhhh... why is that off topic? she specifically asked for information about usc and im givin' it to her.

Proton... looks like she or he already got into USC and has decided to go there, but is asking about some housing questions.

webb tower isnt bad. just about any USC housing you get is good, consider yourself fortunate. i do not think its much more expensive than most other places.

I'm from USC too...Webb is fine, close to the gym and cafe 84. (and it's the same $ as the other campus housing stuff)

Don't worry, Haneen, you will get used to UC students whining to you about how their schools are cheaper than ours. Just mention football or jobs after college and they'll shut up.

omg, chloe 173,
nearly everyone hates me here at ucsb for leaving to USC, everyone thinks i am going there cuz its private and stuff and i am sick of it... its a huge transition for me, and no one is giving me hope here.. for me again for the million time i am paying the same at ucsb since i am out state. ,
I am kind of nervouse!!!!!

It was off-topic because she was asking specifically about Webb, not the school.

Don't worry Haneen, USC is pretty easy to transition into. Just really make sure to go to all your classes and try to stay caught up on your reading in the first weeks so that it doesn't snowball on you later. As far as making friends go, I would suggest going through sorority rush or joining another on-campus organization like Pepsters or Helenes to make friends. Other than that, you should have no problems. Feel free to ask me any other questions, or post them in the USC board. There are certainly a few of us on here that are willing to help you out!

oh and be sure not to venture out of the campus unless you want to get raped, mugged, beaten, or murdered

Haneen, I'm glad to see that you settled on USC. Now, it's fine to be nervous but don't drive yourself crazy with worry. You will meet people at USC if you put in any sort of effort. Don't worry about what anyone else tells you - you made the best decision for YOU. Best of luck to you!!!

looks like proton is a real USC expert.

haneen, you should be way psyched. your going to love it, even if you drive yourslef nuts. arent you a guy?

It's one thing to be on this website to help others. But it's just sad when you waste your time putting down random schools by digging up old stereotypes.

hey proton, it was nice of you to say that, at least this was the last thing i wanted to hear now!!!
anyway thank you guys for the encouragment, i know i wont regret transfering to USC, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to go there !!!
btw i am a girl !!

Webb Tower is more of an apartment type complex than a dorm, it runs anywhere from 550 - 700 clams a month... not bad.
